Technical Support Programmer
Technical Support Programmer work with users and with industry leading technology, often in the same day. The same specialist may begin their work day by reviewing efficiency ideas with the controller and A/P supervisor of our customers, discuss business process timing with the customer of one our customers later in the morning, and do B2BWorks product tailoring in the afternoon. The challenge is more than technical. It is also understanding business process, rules, issues and coaching users on suggestions for more efficient processes. Technical Support Programmers must have excellent communication skills and knowledge of commerce and accounting processes. This work is more than schemas and maps. It is using an array of skills, tools and resources for increasing the efficiency of suppliers and their customers. And it is being part of the implementation of world class technology in one of the largest industries in the world.
Responsible for general accounting and order fulfillment management. Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude:
- Prepare and process daily customer sales
- Prepare and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other financial reports
- Reconcile records with internal company employees and management as well as external vendors and customers
- Follow up on accounts receivable
- Perform general accounting support tasks
